Photos are the thing that makes to archive the moment. But what if photos become interactive with more than visual elements so that the understanding of the memories changes?
I started to question how materials affect the way of seeing and remember. A series of photographs in which some parts are cut off and filled in with various unusual and mismatched materials to see how viewers remember the works in many ways. This project aims to explore uneven, rough textures since we are getting used to smooth surfaces and to examine how the material affects the storytelling or perspective of the photographs.
The project aims to get out of the generalisation and standardisation of what the photos should be, and to allow audiences to use more than a visual sense.
Photos with Various Materials. The frames are made out of Wood with Sponge.
